There is a new Fink on the block

Summer is one of those really photogenic people! She'll tell you isn't, but you can decide for yourself. I took these shots before Steve and Summer were really a couple and then when they got engaged. I'm not sure Steve is as beautiful as her, but that usually makes beautiful babies and they have one on the way, baby Isabella!

Maternity Shoot

Pregnant women are gorgeous! There is something about them that translates so well into photos. This woman is a friend of mine and I owed her bigtime for being so patient with me, so I told her I would do a maternity shot of her. I was a little nervous since I don't have a lot of experience with maternity shoots, but I think overall it went well. She looked beautiful, more beautiful than I look on a good day, and she's 7 months pregnant!

Its rude to stare

I can't help staring! I don't know if its my experience behind a camera or if its just life is more beautiful as you get older, but there is something about the people I am around, the trees, flowers and sky that I just can't ignore some days. Seems like some days the sky just captivates you or the look on your nephews face when he gets to be the center of attention, there really aren't words to describe, really the only thing that works for me, is to stare, or take a picture, and since everyone knows that "staring is rude" I end up with loads of pics, some good some not so good, but I figure I should let other people see what I see. I think this will help me and whoever happens along this site to open their eyes a little wider at the beauty around us.
